PERSONAL TRAINING WITH AINZLIE

Training in person with me looks slightly different for everyone.

First of all, personal training sessions take place at Sport and Exercise at the Pleasance in Edinburgh. This is the only venue where I take personal training clients.

You do NOT need to be a member with the gym in order to train with me, however if you wish to use the gym outwith our sessions you will need a membership.

Training with me in person is by application only, this helps to ensure that we are the best fit for your goals and that our schedules match up.

If you become a client, your first block will look like this:

Your first gym session involves me looking at how you move, learning about any history of injuries or health issues that need to be taken into consideration when I design a programme for you.

Once you have your programme we work together to make sure each exercise is safe, effective and enjoyable for you.

In each session we will go over your workout and also use this time to focus on any move that you’re struggling with.

Sessions will be booked into monthly blocks, either 1 or 2 sessions per week over a 4 week period.

After this first month, our training will continue on a rolling monthly basis and your workouts will be updated and adapted as you become stronger.

For Silver and Gold clients your personal training also includes a membership to my online coaching.

Online coaching membership

I do things differently with my personal training. A lot of my clients are neurodivergent, as am I! And I know that without the right support eventually life gets in the way and our fitness and life goals are pushed to the side because they are too overwhelming or difficult.

So for anyone who has ever set a New Year’s resolution only to “give up” by Valentine’s Day, my online coaching is designed with you in mind.

We spend a session discussing your big goals, think of this like an assessment for your mind.

What do you want to achieve? What’s standing in your way? What has worked before? What would hold you back now? What makes this difficult? How can we make it easy?

We agree on a plan and then get to work. Everything is delivered through my app, all of your workouts and coaching materials are on there for quick referencing and help.

You’ll have a clear nutrition, fitness or mindset habit to work on each week and we will check in each Sunday via email and see how things are going.

Going well? Fantastic, keep following the plan.

Too easy? Great, lets go to the next step.

Struggling a bit? No worries, lets adapt and continue.

What about exercise? I’ve got your back there too.

If you’re in the gym and have no idea if your deadlift is good, send me a video and I’ll send it back with some analysis on your movement. Breaking down the move and explain what is going well and what could be improved. This means that when you’re working out on your own, you’re always confident that you’re doing the right thing.

All aspects of your plan are delivered to you through the app including coaching material to help you complete your workouts and nutrition goals and check-in forms to help you reflect on your progress for the week and stay on top of your plan.

The membership is a monthly subscription that gives you support and help every week of the year so there are no disruptions during holidays or if you are unable to attend a session at any point.

For those who want more gym time and quicker progress.  

*Sessions cancelled within 24hours will be lost, otherwise they will carry over to the following month. As such your monthly amount will vary based on your gym sessions
